Up we go for real

I wrote about the Up house before (read it here); a very lucky couple are living the Up life in a replica of the house in Herriman Utah.

But this week i discovered that Up the film came to life for yet another time. Back in March of this year someone reenacted the flying scene, by building a small version of the house. After filling 300 weather balloons (each containing a tank of helium) and attaching them, the house stayed up in the air for over 1 hour. How cool is that?!

It was all done for the National Geographic show “How Hard Can it Be?”.
